I've been wearing them in my sleep for about a month and only ripped them off once in my sleep so I'd say they're comfortable. Sad but true; As I got older I had to rest my heels and then my elbows because of dry, thin, cracked skin. While it's annoying to sleep in heeled boots and elbow pads, I know it's important to keep your heels and elbows healthy after rubbing lube on my heels and elbows, as broken and cracked skin causes irritation. Things you don't want, except unsightly. I'm a size between 4 and 6 and they have enough room for comfort but they don't slip or slip because of the elastic at both ends. The gel pads have wash cracks now so don't expect them to last more than a few months, but thankfully they're not expensive. Your skin is your body's largest organ, so take care of it and it will take care of you.
