I got red for my Honda trx400x and I have to say they look pretty terrible on them. I had to remove the sprocket because the mounting hardware that came with it didn't fit my 7/8 taper link. Maybe I didn't try hard enough, but both sizes that came with the handguard didn't fit my 7/8" handlebars. Anyway, I just had hardware from another handguard set and it worked great. an anomaly and I just received a custom size hardware kit. Anyway, they're very easy to install, look cool, and the aluminum pole probably protects well from branches. It may or may not protect your levers if you flip it - I hope I never find out. I like the setup only on the bar end because I found it very difficult to fit the 2 mounting point guard type to the quad. There I have the other hardware I had. I have found that they actually protect your levers. I tried a hill that was too steep, got stuck and ended up rolling down the hill with my ATV rolling behind me. not 2 broken levers, when i got up and leveled my quad i was shocked to find both were fine. The guards crouched, but they protected my levers. I continued my journey. I've added a photo of my quad once I set it up below. As you can see the guards are scratched and bent, but heck they're still there, as are my levers. I bent the rods back into the vise and will continue to use them.
