After putting these shoes on, I immediately felt that I should return them, but hesitated because I like this style. As others have pointed out they feel too tight, you have to unlace the laces all the way down to get your foot in, the heel slips up and down a bit no matter how hard you tighten the laces and it just didn't feel overall pleasant. I wore them to work anyway and was surprised to find that after only a few hours of wearing none of it was a problem, except I had to loosen the laces a lot to get my foot in (a minor inconvenience). I assume the material has stretched? Who knows. I'm happy with the shoes and would buy another pair in a different color.
