Review on White 2 Way Kevlar Round 5.25-Inch Acoustic Audio HD5-Pr Speakers by Julie Rodriguez

When it comes to audio, video and electronics I am very picky and prefer the well known brands. My home theater is very important to me because my family and I spend a lot of time watching movies. I currently have a 73" Mitsubishi DLP that I bought new in 2008 (planning to replace next year). I have a Pioneer VSX-822-K receiver (110W, 5.1, all HDMI, wireless for DLNA etc.) to power my surround speakers. I was wanting to buy Polk Audio RC65i 2-way in-wall speakers for speaker surround sound, but after reading all of their specifications, which are comparable and sometimes superior to Polk Audio, I decided to give it a try. I'm very glad I did! These speakers stand up to anything I throw at them and keep going! The 6.5" drivers are really made of Kevlar and of very good quality. Even with the subwoofer switched off (NXG Technology NX-BAS-500 12" subwoofer), they play good bass! So much so that sometimes I'm not quite sure if my subwoofer is turned off! (No kidding!) The tweeters reproduce crisp, clear high frequencies without distortion. Mounted on the ceiling in our living room, the speakers look very good and are hardly noticeable. I have two pairs ceiling mounted, a center channel and a 12 inch subwoofer. . It all adds up to fantastic 5.1 surround sound! I would highly recommend the Acoustic Audio HD-650 speakers to anyone! I've had them for about a year now and they're still going strong.
