I haven’t had the need to use the cold pack yet but the heat on the belly definitely soothes my newborn. The cloth itself is the perfect size for a burp cloth and the towel portion is great for spit ups. I heat the pack for 15-20 seconds and place it in the lower pocket and put it in position right under my babies belly when burping him. He can get pretty fussy when gassy and this calms him down leaving him more relaxed to get the gasses out. I love the idea that we can also use it as a cold pack when we need to. It comes with 2 packs so I leave one in the fridge and use the other for heat.
