I have silver platinum hair color. Obviously it's difficult to keep it that way and tends to fade just 3 weeks after I've tinted it. So I decided to look again for a product that would at least remove the yellow between repaints. I tried it when I felt my hair had completely faded to a yellowish blonde. I first used it on mostly dry hair. I wet my hands and hair just enough to make the product spread a little easier. I didn't try to be perfect at it. It took more product than I was hoping for but I have long hair. I let it install about 10 minutes. My hair got wetter when I showered and I tried to distribute it through my hair before rinsing it out. This material definitely took away my yellow tones and didn't stain at all. My hair didn't turn silver, but it was quite ashy and looked mostly white. I used them a second time a few days later, this time I used them in the shower, my hair was completely wet. I think the results weren't that strong, but they definitely helped keep my hair from turning too yellow. I still took more product than I was hoping for but for $13 I think it does the job pretty well considering other products claiming the same were over $30! I don't know if this affects your hair, my hair is badly damaged by chlorine so I use a very strong conditioner afterwards. The smell is mild and almost non-existent. This is great if you need to touch up your skin before the weekend or a good day! I'm so glad I finally found something that actually works, is fairly affordable, and doesn't hurt!
