Review on 🗑️ iTouchless 13 Gallon Automatic Trash Can: Odor-Absorbing Filter, Lid Lock, Battery or AC Powered, Black/Stainless Steel by Trevor Rodke

I bought this bin 8 years ago. It was difficult to find an affordable stainless steel trash can at the time, so the fact that it was the most sensible and had an automatic lid seemed like a pretty easy choice. It still looks great and works great. You can move the sensor to open the lid or there is a button on the front to open and hold the lid open. The closed lid keeps odors out perfectly. To be honest I've never tried replacing the carbon filters in it to use the advertised 'deodorant' and given the price at the moment I wouldn't either. AC adapter, it is battery operated and this is stated in the review. The batteries say they last a year but personally I find they last a lot longer than ours and we use them regularly. Standard kitchen bags are used. Inside is a plastic ring that tucks into the top of the bag to keep the bag from hanging over the edges. It does an excellent job of keeping the bag in place even when you throw very heavy items in the trash.
