I don't think it will last more than one season. A strand is about 10 feet long, which isn't much for a large tree. To get the effect you need a few strands, they are very light and the plastic is like a straw material. Very thin. Seems to be a cheap build for the price. We're testing it, but it'll probably only last a holiday season.
