Works on 2007 Volvo XC90 3.2 AWD. As other reviewers have pointed out, the car has 2 filter slots. This filter is 1.5 inches thick and fits in the front of the two filter slots (closer to the firewall and vehicle headlights). The filter I replaced was 1" thick and was in the rear (and more accessible) of the two filter slots, but the 1.5" filter does not fit in that slot. I had to snap off the arrow shaped plastic tongue covering the front slit. I was having a hard time replacing the cabin air filter in my car because the 2 front most screws under the glove box were difficult to reach.
