Should have gotten one a long time ago

After reading the other reviews I was worried I might have trouble getting a strong signal at campsites but I was tired of the manual dish set up and aligned on a tripod. Delivered in 2 days, unpacked and set up in the driveway, hooked up to our camper for testing. I am using a Directv D-12 receiver. Set up the power source, by this point my receiver had completed its reboot and I was seeing Directv. I went into the signal meters and found all my transponders at 95% or better and overall signal strength at 98%. I was pretty happy. The real test came last week when we traveled to St. Augustine, Anastasia State Park, FL, drove, very wooded, couldn't get a clear shot from the ground or tripod, but my tow vehicle was high enough to see over the tree line SW. As we had an extra car I put the King on the roof of my P/U and did get a strong signal but no local station no problem getting the King over the air ant. and received 45 Jacksonville stations. The next test was an Orlando KOA with bad cable so I went back to my Quest and received all my transmitters. I'm booting my receiver now (so it can restart when setting up the quest) and until I've got everything hooked up I'm getting Directv. No more messing around with manual pointing and straining to hear the beep and using an old army language at that. very happy I'm booting my receiver now (so it can restart when setting up the quest) and until I've got everything hooked up I'm getting Directv.
