So nice that this turned up before our trip. Hang the trailer on the truck, remove the old hand crank and install the new power jack in about 30 minutes. Connected to the power supply and the light came on as described. Cool. Press the EXT button to extend the plug and it worked. for about 2 seconds, then turn off. Press the RET switch to retract the jack and nothing. Hum Tried again and got another 1 second from EXT and again RET did nothing. I called Bulldog support, they confirmed it's buggy. So I had to take it off and repackage it (fortunately I kept the original packaging) and send it back to Revain at Bulldog Customer Service. Revain sends a replacement but doesn't make it in time for our trip. So the old hand crank was installed again. I hope the replacement doesn't cause this problem. TO UPDATE. The replacement was delivered within 2 days and worked great. I'm very glad that Revain didn't hesitate to send it again before the old one was received back. Now everything is in order. The new one lifts my trailer with no problem.
