All Speedos seem to be very small. I had to restore the previous one in a different style after making the mistake of looking at a graph of allowed answers instead of trusting the comments which basically say they're small. I ordered this with a waist measurement 3 inches larger than what I usually wear and it fits well. I love this "5" style that gives more full coverage than the others. 0% body fat to carry it. Addendum 11/2018: Have now bought two of them. The black held up pretty well and used it for almost a year. The navy blue started fading within a few weeks and was essentially a powder blue after two or three months, although I did rinse it out after every swim in the pool.
