It's well built, solid, sturdy, fits standard Arca type tripod head quick release plate - all great. It fits a standard iPad in any orientation, which is necessary due to a design flaw. The problem is that it doesn't fit the iPad snugly enough. The handles must be vertical (directly above the tripod), otherwise the iPad could slip out. It happened when adjusting the tripod head - it flew to the side and the iPad fell to the ground (no damage). Because of this, I can't use the iPad Pro. I need it in portrait mode for the virtual meeting app, and the only way I could do that was to put it in landscape mode and then tilt the tripod head 90 degrees (tilt it sideways). But it's not safe enough. Unfortunately. Otherwise it seems like a great product. You just need to improve how the clutch works - maybe the spring? Or a drawbar/latch? I do not know. I am considering returning the item. For the price it should be better. A NOTICE. I paid full selling price and received nothing of value from this review.
