The Panasonic requires batteries and has a built-in USB rechargeable battery. Another plus. Works as expected from an oral irrigator. It comes with a pouch instead of a hard case. I know another brand that offers similar features and a hard case. In general, the purchase can be a personal preference. Price can also be an important factor.
