Review on 🚗 MOOSUN Cold Air Intake Kit with Filter for Dodge/Chrysler 5.7L 6.1L V8 (Challenger, Charger, 300) 2005-2010 - Silver Tube & Black Filter by Ryan Lawrence

I chose my 07 SRT8 because I knew it was a cheap option. The goal is to add some air intake growl for car shows and cruising (note the stock SRT8 air intake is a great design, most CAI's don't work that well). Contents: I'm glad this kit arrived almost complete - there are no instructions (for me, that's not a problem). , 3 screws needed to assemble the airbox and 2 vent hose clamps. Happy to see that it comes with a vent fitting, a new vent hose and space and socket for the air temp sensor! Problems: First, the aluminum tube section is about an inch shorter. I've squeezed the rubber mounts as far as I can, but I suspect this thing will wiggle out of the clamps, IE will suck unfiltered. Second, the rubber knee is very flimsy and I'm not sure it will withstand the intake vacuum created at full throttle. . Folks, you don't get any HP, just the sound and the hilarious smile that accompanies it.
