It was hard to find a grill brush that I wanted. They were all either too big (not all baste a whole pig carcass, you know) or too small (I used a kitchen brush with a about 4-inch handle to baste), or had awkwardly angled heads, metal or cloth bristles (which they didn't dishwasher safe) or plastic (because plastic and open flames are such a great combination, grill brush maker :/). So I was skeptical when I found a fairly large but otherwise good grill brush here (I'm terrible at math. 12 inches seemed big). However, I received this brush and as soon as I pulled it out of the box I knew that THIS brush is what I wanted all along. For people like me who have a basic $100 propane grill (in other words, something that's not very big and not very pretty), this brush is perfect. It's small enough to be rotated easily, but long enough to avoid getting burned on the grill while in use. The body is made of brushed stainless steel, giving it not only a professional look, but an easy-care look that will complement any other tool kit you have. And the head is made of silicone, making it heat resistant and dishwasher safe when you're done. There are other brushes, some of which are much nicer. But for any casual griller who enjoys preparing a simple fire grill meat but hasn't invested enough to get a $300 grill, this brush will more than do the trick for you.
