This item is amazing - we got a second cat and had to get a second kitty holster straight away. Every other cat harness either has a buckle that clicks into place and scares the cat, or has two permanent leg holes that you have to somehow fit the cat's front legs into. This one is different and worth the price just because it can attack from above! Simply place the harness on the kitten's back and wrap it around. Fast, easy, reliable. The velcro is VERY strong - one day our cat got scared (she collided with a horse for the first time) and ran away in absolute panic, but the harness didn't budge and she stayed firmly tied to us at the other end of the leash. Size Large - Our adult cat (pictured) weighs 9.5 pounds and size XS fits perfectly. The new kitten is 4 months old, weighs 3 pounds and size XS is too big. If your cat has never worn a harness, she'll likely roll over like she's paralyzed when you first put it on - it takes a lot of practice for a kitten to learn that they can still walk in a harness . The harness has a calming effect on our cat, like diapers. The reflective strips are really good quality and add extra safety at night. Pink neon pink! The yellow is not neon yellow, but still a nice bright yellow. With the right feline personality, lots of patience, and treats, this is the perfect tool to help your cat transform into an adventurous feline!
