I bought this remote in May this year and up until this week it has met all my expectations for regular gaming. My 6 year old son often needed a hand when he was playing Lego Harry Potter and instead of just helping him with his remote I bought this 'Wii Remote' to play with him. The '+' button on this remote stopped working this week and you need this button to 'start' the game or add a second player. It's disappointing that the button works for other games we rarely play. I did some research and concluded that I was having this particular remote control issue because it is an UNAUTHORIZED product. The remote on the left in the photo I've attached is the one that came with the Wii console. You can see the "Wii" logo on the remote itself and the small "Nintendo" logo on the nunchuck compared to the Null logo on the second remote. I am planning to go to a retailer to buy a licensed Nintendo product as this is practically useless as we hardly play any other games. Hope this helps someone.
