I have the ES-26M version of this item, saw it as a newer version and decided to give it a try. Along with my EC-26M, they are similar in size and only slightly different in appearance. They use the same application function, which I've never had a single problem with. I weigh myself daily to see my weekly averages. The scale is great for recording your data for you and uploading it to my Apple Health app (which calculates my averages for me). I also use the Happy Scale app and can import data from Apple Health. It's so smooth and gorgeous. We ended up with 3 instead of 5 stars, I have a different model. When I got on my original scale and then stepped on this scale, the weight readings were 3 pounds down. I dismounted and recalibrated (putting on the scale and quickly dismounting) and got a different but even higher weight. I recalibrated the weight and they gave me another 1lb more. I've recalibrated many times and continued to add 1lb to the weight. It was very disappointing. I believe that the original scale compares very well with the doctor's scale. Last week I weighed myself in the morning (without clothes) and when I got to the doctor's office (fasted for a blood test, only drank water) the difference in clothes was less than a pound after drinking water at the doctor's office. all i trust this brand and maybe got a dud!
