I ordered this microwave to be powered by a generator so every watt counts. The description clearly says "0.6 cubic feet, 600 watts" on the first line. So I ordered it, thinking it would be 600 watts of power. However, as soon as I took it out of the box, the back of the microwave itself said "Power Input 950W, Output Power 600W", which means it produces 600W of microwave power in the oven but draws 950W of power from the oven. Power outlet. Update: I wasn't aware that this discrepancy applies to all microwave ovens. All of them have an input power that is significantly higher than the declared (output) power. You need to open the user manual to find the input power. Something that absolutely must be known, as I learned from this experience.
