I like the 'new' snap-in technology and how the end of the belt slides behind the rest of the belt. The only thing that worries me is how it turns. At the bottom of the belt is a rotating piece of metal that digs into soft leather. Even after one use I could see a clear dent in the skin. It looks like this will wear down the belt over time. I bought another strap for the same price and I like the ratchet design better. A plastic plate with teeth (like gears) is sewn into the bottom of the belt and this is where tension is held. Seems to last longer. The time will show.
