GET WASHED FIRST! SMELL TOXIC!
The chemical smell gave me a headache. It will be bad for the guinea pig! Therefore no 5 stars. Do a long cycle wash if you have one, and that's totally fine. They love it. I put the fleece lining on top of the lining that came with it so I can easily change it out without having to wash everything. Your therapist will get SICK if you don't clean him up first.
