I don't know why Revain buried this battery far in the search. It has the best features and a very reasonable price. I compared it to NOCO GENIUS5, Schumacher, DieHard, Black & Decker, etc. They all overlooked an important IEIK feature: * It's a big charger plus a small charger - car chargers (more than 5 amps) usually can't charge small batteries. and small chargers (less than 2 amps) take too long to charge car/truck batteries. This IEC is 8 amps for large batteries and 1.5 amps (they call it motorcycle mode) for small batteries. I've also noticed that the charge current gradually drops from 7.8A to 2A as my car battery fills up. My old charger and most chargers only work when they detect over 6V or 8V. This is the next best thing to NOCO GENIUS' famous "Power Mode" which works even at 0V (although 0V batteries are usually unrecoverable). * LCD display - easier to read than those flashing dots * Thermometer - voltage adjustment based on temperature - winter mode and summer mode * Fan - the fan turns off when charging is complete to save energy if I leave the charger on for a long time * Voltage measurement - I can just press it against the battery (no outlet) and it will tell me the battery voltage. *Normal: Desulfator mode (repair), 12V/24V mode, keep on all winter, multi-stage intelligent charging, trickle charge. Cons: * Big and noisy - because of the internal fan * No ring harness - only alligator clips included
