Great reversing camera!

I recently bought this LeadSign backup camera for my 2011 RAM 1500 because it had the underside of a main unit and no backup camera. Also because of the reviews I saw here and because the resolution was better than the rest of the RAM tailgate rear view cameras. Once installed and running, I was impressed with the image. Much better than the backup camera I have on my 2012 Grand Cherokee. My only issue with this camera, while the install/connect instructions seem very clear, the descriptions on the cable for enabling/disabling the grid line were unclear. After reading the reviews here, everything became clear. Do not cut the wire close to the camera if you need camera grid lines. If you don't want grid lines, cut the wire. My new head unit, which I bought to have a rear camera, has adjustable grid lines, but I'm sticking with the camera grid lines for now. Firstly, I did not install it and did not connect it. I asked Best Buy to install it as I bought a new high quality Pioneer AVH-2550NEX head unit from them with a free install which can have a rear camera. The geeks couldn't get the camera to work on the first install attempt, saying the camera was bad. I drove home angry after my stereo was inside with no backup camera. I quickly arranged for the first camera to be returned with a Revain representative, which I thought was flawless and quite amazing, and ordered another of these cameras. Then I called the people who installed it the first time to try and get the app. to install the second. They were able to squeeze me in in no time, but when I got there, the assholes couldn't get the camera to work again. Then one of the real geeks discovered that the voltage coming from the accessory was too high for the camera, and then they actually read the instructions and connected the wires to the 'reverse light wires' correctly! I guess they had to learn the hard way and include me in their failure that "reading is the foundation". I'm just glad they finally got it working in the end.
