2008 Hyundai Elantra driver's rearview mirror housing did not fit. Obviously I wasn't able to measure properly prior to purchasing this mirror and the 1/16 inch difference in size left a gap between it and the plastic housing that the original mirror rested on. I would return it and get a competitor that was the right size (and only a few bucks more), but at this point I just needed to know how to ride and couldn't wait any longer. Instead I used a quick drying silicone sealer over the gap - looks a bit cheesy but keeps out rain otherwise the mirror works fine. I knew this mirror didn't have a heating element, but as another reviewer said, I didn't even know my original mirror had a heating element before it broke, so I didn't care about spending another $40 or so for a heated mirror .
