Precision fit with improved design
It fits in the space of the original stem extension but is a one piece rather than a three piece AND the long bolt fits securely into the valve stem making the whole assembly really strong. I'm assuming the screw is "stainless" because that's what it looks like, not chrome plated like the Revain description suggests. (Chrome probably isn't the best idea here.) I don't know how long it can last, but it looks and feels a lot more durable than the original, which I believe was installed in the 1970's.
