I give 2 stars because the scoop size seems right. But the key feature of this shovel that drew me to buy it is that the handle can be extended and retracted as needed. However, the mechanism to lock the handle in the extended position does not work. So when you reach for the bottom of the coffee bag to grab the scoop, the handle flips up and you have no leverage in the extended position. DO NOT recommend if you need a longer measuring spoon. And if you don't need a longer spoon, there are better options.
