Typical Darn Tough quality. These are great socks for low-cut sneakers or other shoes. I never understood the difference wearing wool socks with running shoes makes. Not only to cushion your feet, but also to keep your feet dry and more comfortable when wet. One of the biggest advantages for me is the lack of bad foot odor. Seriously, compared to cotton socks, they barely smell and don't smell in shoes at all. Once you've tried them, you'll wonder why you ever wore cotton socks. Yes, they're pretty expensive, but they're absolutely worth every penny, and with wool socks, you don't need that many pairs. I've found I can sometimes wear them for almost a week without changing pairs. They won't get crispy or smelly for very long. When I run I only wear 2 pairs alternately and this system is perfect for me as an everyday runner. Longevity is not an issue at all, they hold up great and also have the BEST warranty of any company. Lifetime replacement if damaged or punctured, so a really good investment. In terms of fit, the sizing chart is pretty accurate, I wear size 10.5 shoes and the medium fit is perfect for me, it's also not too bulky in shoes where it might affect the fit. They seem to have enough extra padding in the most impact resistant areas of the foot while still being thin and light enough. Soft buffers around the opening are a very practical feature that prevent shoes from chafing. All in all these are excellent, quality and comfortable socks that I would recommend to anyone looking for a more comfortable fit in their shoes. This is a huge improvement over cotton, which for countless unwashed socks has little to no odor or stiffness. Highly recommended.
