This is very nice, the cover by itself is nice enough to make a beautiful gift and to warrant the price. You can smell that it's authentic leather.What I like most about it, is the pages can be refilled or replaced, and looking around there are lots of different page designs to choose from.The one thing I didn't like was that on the pages that were included, there's not a lot of room allocated for each day - I think because the Notes and Goals areas at the top of each section take up a lot of room and then the split the rest of it out. This isn't to do with the notebook itself and can be easily rectified by finding pages that make more sense for what I use it for, though, so I won't take a star for that.The reason I did take a star was the closure - it's a little inconvenient, seems to take more time to get into the journal than it does for others; not really bad, just not optimal. I think I would have preferred just a large flap with some magnets sewn in. I don't know if they did it this way for decorative reasons, but it just seems a little clunky to me. I would have preferred a leather that was softer to the touch, also, I think, although this kind is probably more durable.Overall - I would recommend, and it earns a solid four stars.
