Works great and looks great on my desk.
I don't usually write reviews but this one had so many conflicting reviews that I almost bought it. I'm glad I heard good reviews. I like the look very much and I don't find the light too bright. The ball floats and spins when pushed, but it doesn't spin on its own. I might find it difficult to get it floating by installing it myself, but it's a breeze if you use the tool they give you. I would definitely recommend this if you want something other than the default base globe.
