🌍 Illuminated World Globe on Built-in Stand Review

This is a very cheap product. The globe fell apart when my son opened it and I had to take it apart in the middle and re-glue it. Yes that's right, it was literally just glued together.

My 3 year old loves his lighted globe although he is now convinced that the trip to Russia is not far away ' because we can just drive across Canada and Alaska (ha!). But it actually helps him understand the shape of the earth and the concept of countries and oceans. It turns him on and that's why I'm excited too.

Very poor quality. My son loves this globe but every day it falls apart and I have to put it back on the stand. It's just because he's holding it on his knees, spinning and studying it. After hitting the ground yesterday, the globe broke apart at the equator. It does not seem to stand up to normal treatment by children.

Beautiful lighted globe, but a little smaller than expected. I've added a photo next to the credit/gift card for sizing purposes. It's smaller than a basketball, but kids can handle it just fine. The globe is well balanced, does not tilt and is evenly illuminated (4 x AA batteries). It's well detailed and even has a legend! The frame is made of plastic - I hope it holds up or we'll end up with a torn football! Overall, a great globe for studying geography!

We really like this little globe. The packaging says '8+' but it's perfect for our 3.5 year old granddaughter! Clearly printed countries, states, cities, light enough to carry around, stable base (never tip over), small enough to fit on a dresser, small table, tent, anywhere! And lit! I received the package on time. The globe is easy to read. The stand is made of plastic, so don't use too much force. Use it carefully. My kid liked it because the names of countries and states are in capital letters. A big problem I found on this globe is the map of India. India's northernmost state, Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory divided between India, Pakistan and China.
