The shoes are so light that the son can walk easily but they don't grip the soul well and my son has been wearing the shoes for 3 days now and the material on the toe of the shoe already looks like it's tattered.

My son wore them to school one day and just around the house the next day so I don't know how long they will last. My son is 7 and normally wears a size 3 1/2 but I got him a size 4 and they fit great.
