does not fit (unthreaded) for 00 vr6 jetta glx
has been declared to fit 2000 jetta vr6 glx sedan and also 1999 audi a4 1.8t quattro. I bought two of the same product and as advertised it should fit both machines. When I used it on the Audi I had to force it. I had to force it into a thread or something. When I tried on the Jetta it didn't fit (this can be hard to explain), the thread pattern and the retaining plastic piece on the replacement cap were upside down.
