I have worn it several times and it fits your wrist perfectly. There isn't much extra room for me to hang out and it stays where I put it most of the time. It's not at all tight and flexible to accommodate risks of different sizes. It's big enough and it probably wouldn't be nice if it was cramped. I would say my wrist is medium to large. I can't wear big bangles like the 8" but the 7 1/2" fits me well, I think there's a lot of value here and it seems pretty well made. It sits on two elastic straps and each of the discs is beveled for a smooth internal fit. I'm guessing it's plastic with a metal insert, but honestly I don't know. It is very light and well made.
