Have been using this bike rack for about a week, I was skeptical at first. The low price and extremely Chinese packaging didn't give much confidence that it would hold my bike securely on the roof of my car without catastrophic failure. But I was wrong. It's lightweight, fairly well built, and very strong suction. I've ridden some of my heavier bikes on rough roads without losing the vacuum in the cups. Keep the cups and car surface clean and I see no problem with that. A very stylish and practical way to transport a bike around town.
