I was concerned if this would work on the swing based on some reviews but we are happy with it! A few notes on assembly: Our swings have crossbars on which the swing hangs. . We wrapped the hanging ropes around the joists that have the crossbars between them so they are perpendicular to how a regular swing would hang (no suspension required). Our swing set has hook positions for four swings, two of which we moved to the outside positions and the swing is centered between the two inside positions (hanging on the beams also gives more freedom of adjustment). While a child can collide with other swings (and indeed other children on the swing), I don't think the risk of collision is any higher than when positioning regular swings on the swing. My daughter loves to spin it and really go as far as she can and hasn't had to hit or tangle with other swings and bars yet. 50% in the growth chart).
