This is a 70V high voltage audio amplifier If you need 70V you already know this and you know the price ranges. I ended up ordering 4 amps (Rockville, Pyle, Monoprice and a used Crown 1160A). All were intended for outdoor use and hidden under one of the artificial landscape stones. Pyle had the second worst sound of all and really had to be cranked up to get enough volume. As soon as you turn it on, you'll be in the distortion realm almost immediately. It's also important to talk about the setup: I connected it to three speakers with selectable power, each set at 16W. In other words, he must have had enough power to control her. If I had to evaluate I would say that 500W peak power (at a given frequency on a better day in a cold room) equals 100W RMS which is about 80W of usable power. It could have been good, but I had to work really hard to get enough volume and the distortion was just bad. Interestingly, the used crown won the battle. I really wish the Pyle system was better as the build quality seemed good and the user interface is just superb. You may have better luck in a room with few speakers. I would definitely buy Pyle again, but I needed something a little more fancy for my application.
