Updated April 19, 2021, still works! Not waterproof, keep that in mind. Maybe cover them with clear coat or epoxy if you need waterproofing. I like the brightness, even if they are not super bright. They shine as bright as the 194 bulb I replaced in my '94 Chevy Suburban front end marker (marker has orange lenses). The original bulb looked a darker orange, now it looks more yellow. The other side was burned when I got it so I just thought it was the reflectors until I replaced some of the turn signal bulbs. I installed 2 of these LED bulbs in my floor mounted 4X4 transfer case switch panel, they look lovely, not too bright. They can also be dimmed using the dimmer switch on the dash! It's good. I've tested them with a mains voltage switch and they run at 7.5vdc very low (you can see 3 dots), 9vdc great, 12vdc bright. I suppose a resistor can be used to dim them if you want (current limiting), or some voltage divider resistors. Maybe 1k ohms? I'll have to test my theory later.
