I read the reviews before ordering this memory for my 2017 iMac. Several people have already noticed how to install it, and rightly so. After opening the RAM slot on the back of the device, the 16Gb modules fit into the top two slots. Apple RAM is below 2. Plug in and boot. The device takes a minute to turn on and see the change, but once it's booted up and running, it shows 40 GIG Ram. Perfect for my needs and adds a few years to the life of my car. I had no problems and it was an easy install.
