I built this into a temperature logger for a Raspberry Pi car fridge. The Raspberry Pi has no internal clock and is not connected to the internet. My logs make sense now! I have this because it is advertised as a more accurate temperature compensated version as it will run from 10F to maybe 150F in a car in Pennsylvania, USA. However, I couldn't find a 1220 battery so I tried a 1216 (same voltage and diameter) and there was enough spring in the battery holder to hold the thinner battery. I also received this particular clock block because it came without a soldered connector because I had to mount it flat and wire it to the screw terminals.
