I love having a Christmas Village for the holidays. I don't like having to deal with all those power cords or being confined to a showroom with the nearest outlet. This pretty little village church is well lit with three AAA batteries. As you can see from the photo, the battery compartment is conveniently located on the underside of the case. It has no lid. I was worried the batteries might not fit, but that's not really a problem. You will be kept safe. The body is made of lightweight resin but looks like porcelain. It has lots of detail from wreaths and garlands to a Santa Claus figure near the front window. It will make an adorable addition to your C Christmas Village or a great stand alone decoration for a small space.
