The size of this tablet is a standard 9 inch tablet (slightly smaller than the average iPad) and I would say it has a nice simple look. This is about the average thickness of your regular tablet. The gray on the back is a little easy to scratch like my nephew did a couple of times so be careful if you decide to leave it in your bag. I've been trying to figure out if there's a basis for this, but haven't seen a case that fits the mold. I just use a basic tablet carrying case to protect the tablet. It has a decent camera, but I wouldn't say it's the best camera out there. My nephew can take a photo of his homework to upload to the hard drive. Pictures come out pretty sharp, but you have to hold the tablet steady enough to get a really good picture. The camera also protrudes a bit, but like some new smartphones. The tablet runs Android 10.0 and works quite well with current hardware. At the moment there is no update for the latest Android as I was trying to find an update. That being said, I'd say this tablet is pretty good for your main uses. It can still perform your basic functions like surfing the web, using social media apps or watching videos. It can handle some games like temple racing but not too crazy. I was able to run the emulator for a few games and it works great. The Android UI is almost the same as a regular Nexus tablet, completely redesigned. There isn't really any malware slowing down this Android tablet, which is nice. I didn't have to uninstall unnecessary apps, which saves time and resources. If you check the normal apps that can be downloaded, there are also no apps that don't work, so you can see that they don't use modded Android OS as Netflix and some other apps might not work. I would say it does most of the work and works better for the kid as it can run simple apps that they can use. The screen looks pretty decent, but it soaks up finger grease and prints very easily. I have found that I have to wipe it down quite often. Battery life is pretty decent and unlike many other similar tablets, it drains very quickly on a stand. Based on the total usage time of the tablet, it lasts about five to six hours when fully used. It may also require recharging every five or six days while on standby. I recommend turning on notifications to reduce battery drain in standby mode. The sound quality is ok, but it's definitely not the best sound quality. It gets the job done when you need to watch YouTube or 1080p videos. Another nice thing is that this is one of the only Android tablets at this price point that has Type-C charging! It doesn't look like it'll have fast charging, but it doesn't take more than four hours to fully charge with minimal use. Overall I think this device is perfect for the price and for basic use. It will definitely be a good device for kids to use on the go or at home. My nephew mainly uses it to upload homework to the school app. The tablet stutters a bit when you have too many apps open and slows down in response, but it gets the job done. It runs the main applications but doesn't require any RAM as it's only 2GB. The design of the tablet has a very decent size and the touchscreen is responsive. The screen is not made of plastic but of glass. A pretty good investment if you're looking for a cheap travel tablet. The processor is quite good, but the RAM is a bit small today, only 2 GB old.
