Removing the old one was the hardest part, I had to heat the bolts with a small flashlight which melted part of the old broken part which I replaced. I had to make a thin piece of sheet metal to reinforce the cracks around the door jamb holes. This small but very important step resulted in the original bolts almost not reaching the holes of the new actuator. I barely had time to fasten the screws, but once I started they tightened up nicely. Now I don't need my key to open the door anymore. It was a bit of manual work, but it's better than spending over $400 to have someone else do it. Online video shows it done in 20 minutes or less but due to removing the studs and making the sheet metal rebar this job took 3 hours but it was done!
