First, buyers should remember that you get what you pay for. This veil was very inexpensive. I went online with my friend's granddaughter and told her that she had a $15 limit on a first communion veil. Many options. After discussing hairstyles and crown and headband styles, she settled on this one. The price was around $8.99. The lace veil was perfect. The pearls on the crown look cheap, but remember, $8.99? There is an extra piece of lace in multiple thicknesses on the front of the crown (it was also mentioned in some reviews) the purpose of which I didn't understand. I went to the Hobby Lobby and bought a bouquet of small white artificial flowers and the result was a white beaded flower crown. Nice. The reason I bought the veil rather than have it made is because I couldn't buy the netting, lace trimmings, flowers etc at that price and don't even tell me about the stress I avoided have very beautiful veil and just add the flowers. All in all it was a good experience.
