Gus-Gus is the end of a long line of farm cats. She's charming, but has some pretty significant behavioral quirks. Your family tree is a telephone pole, if you know what I mean. I put a shirt on her. It was very easy to figure out how to teach her. She took a few staggering steps and lay on her side. She started purring and then drooling, which she does when she's happy because she's not weird enough. I left it for an hour, maybe took it off. The next evening, a few hours. Any strange behavior stopped as soon as we put the shirt on. Since then we've had a bit of a routine. Just before nightfall, she becomes nervous and moody. I pull out a shirt. She makes a half-hearted attempt to run away. I start pulling it around my chest. I make sure it's not too loose or too tight. After that she gives up and I cuddle her up to me, after which she becomes the calmest, happiest, calmest cat ever.
