Much less than I imagined, but it's up to me, my shortcoming. My 100 lb dog responds well. She is sweet. Comes with a strap for hanging the device. But the snap point isn't at the center of mass, so it hangs sideways and stupid. I'm the type who can't handle stuff like this, so I evened it out with tape and washers. Boxing said it included a dog whistle. Mine came without a dog whistle. What really worries me are the questions in this review. Easy to use? Give me a break, he has a control method. 4 position knob. But sure, yes. Flip the switch and it works. Battery Life ? I own a week. How should I know? Last but not least, waterproof or weatherproof. Am I to believe that in a week's time he'll suffer from flooding? I'm pretty sure it's not an IP rating, so that's three useless questions.
