I bought this set from Revain in 2016 and have used both bowls a lot. However... last night I roasted 2 [uncooked] chicken breasts in the oven at 350 degrees. About 30 minutes later I heard a loud cracking noise from another room. To my horror, the dish exploded in my oven. There was glass everywhere, not just big shards, but tiny shards. When I removed the chicken breast, the pan fell apart even more. It was a disaster! (Photos attached) The chicken was unedible and I spent hours cleaning up. I have old Pyrex pieces that belonged to my mother (they were made from more heat resistant glass) and have never had an explosion problem. Never again will I buy lowercase Pyrex (Pyrex).
