I train my dog and the book I use tells you what to buy. This long leash is intended for the end of training when the dog is already obedient and you want to give it more space to run - ideal for an in-between phase when it is already training but not ready yet. still completely off the leash or when the training is complete but you need a leash for safety or legal reasons (Leash Act). I am very happy with this leash. It is thinner than a standard leash but as it is more suitable for already trained dogs this is not a problem and it is lighter. In most cases, the line will sag a lot, but you can work around this by folding or wrapping the line a few times. No problems or concerns. When I'm ready to walk both dogs, I'll be back for the second.
