I've tried countless brooms and mops of different sizes, brands, types... Swiffers, O'Cedars, Squeeze Mops, old fashioned Jane mops, plastic brushes, straw broom…. this puts everything else in the shade. I have faux wood floors throughout my apartment and a short haired 75 pound dog that sheds constantly and lots of little messes made by a super baby dog. It's practically a miracle. In just one sweeping/dry mopping session, dog hair is non-existent (is it a goddamn trick or something), all the little dirt particles (and cracker crumbs and bits and pieces that were probably a bit dated but chewed beyond recognition), dust particles…. everything went at once. I haven't used it as a wet mop yet. I've stopped using O'Cedar spray, a microfiber sanitizing mop, and a wrung-out mop to deal with large spills. I kicked myself from behind and for spending $30 on a broom. That's literally probably the best $30 I've ever wasted. I've noticed less flying dust particles (wooden furniture doesn't need a deep clean right after sweeping) and my allergies have even improved after I started using this mop/broom. i am sold There were 5 microfiber cloths in the kit (instead of 3) but I didn't even need to use another one as the included scraper (a small gray plastic piece with teeth that attaches to the pole) scrapes it all off. Dog hair and dust as a talisman. I've been using it daily since it arrived a few weeks ago. So not sure how strong it will be with the velcro securing the fabric to the bar... but of course the velcro stays in place for a long time... and if not, changing the velcro won't help . difficult task, and it would be worth it. Def doesn't throw microfiber in the dryer. Will be fully air dried. Every time I use this device, I am more and more impressed. For example, my floors actually FEEL clean after using them when I'm barefoot...even with a dog and kid walking around. Damn amazing. At Def, Swiffer and Co. won unconditionally. Very durable; looks solid; Spent an incredible amount of money on a broom that was worth it. I suspect this will continue for years (fingers crossed Ave Mary).
