Ideal for the hard of hearing with wireless headphones - TV with Dolby sound

I have minimal hearing in my left ear. Recently my Samsung TV with Tautronics Bluetooth transmitter (TT BA01U) died. High Fear. Rumors affect relationships. We bought cheap Hisense Series 7 headphones. The transmitter was not connected. Bought a digital to analog converter. That does not work. All said to change the audio output to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation). My other TV - Sony - doesn't have PCM or Bluetooth - and couldn't get the Taotronics transmitter to work with it. Read hundreds of reviews and questions. Eureka! You need a converter that handles "Dolby" audio signals. Attention - there are several variations and permutations of Dolby/Audio signals. As well as other types of sound signals. Received this beauty today. Tried on both televisions: Sony: optical output cable on the television to optical in this converter. Converter to power adapter (wired - which I like as Sony only occupied 1 USB input from the Roku Stick; Hisense only has 1 USB port for input, not power). Converter to Audio Converter. Transmitter connected to AGPTEK USB 5V wall charger/connected to power supply. For the first time I was able to use the headphones with a Sony Bravia TV (2012 model). Regarding. Hisense - Connect your Yamaha soundbar via HDMI ARC. left it alone Plugged in the converter just like I did with the Sony TV. Works perfectly. A major issue for me: the ability to listen to headphones and TV speakers/soundbar SIMULTANEOUSLY. Everything is fine with this gadget! Thank you to everyone who took the time to leave relevant reviews.
